SYSTEM SELECTION
ARTEVO or SYNEGO?
Both are 80 mm platforms, but they solve different priorities. ARTEVO is the premium composite-reinforced system for demanding thermal performance, larger glazing and more architectural detailing. SYNEGO is the versatile platform for energy-efficient residential windows where performance, budget and serviceability need to stay balanced.
WHAT WE SPECIFY
The performance comes from the whole assembly.
Profile, glass, hardware and installation are specified together.
Glazing
We choose Ug, solar factor, safety build-up, acoustic laminates and warm-edge spacer according to orientation, room use and opening size.
Hardware
Tilt-turn, balcony doors, security classes and large-sash hardware are coordinated with sash weight and opening frequency.
Colour & exterior finish
KALEIDO COLOR, matte and wood-effect surfaces, or aluminium exterior shells are selected with façade materials and external shading.
Installation
Thermal base profiles, frame fixing, vapour-control and waterproof membranes, external drainage and sill interfaces are designed before site installation.
LARGE OPENINGS
When the brief goes beyond a standard window.
For terrace openings we compare SYNEGO HST with aluminium lift-and-slide systems. For slimmer moderate-size sliders, SLINOVA X offers a 32 mm central meeting section. The final choice depends on span, moving-panel weight, threshold detail, façade rhythm and budget.

ARTEVO or SYNEGO — which is better?
There is no universal winner. ARTEVO is stronger for premium thermal and architectural requirements; SYNEGO is often the more rational platform for standard energy-efficient residential windows.
Can REHAU use triple glazing?
Yes. The exact glass build-up depends on the system and sash. We check overall thickness, unit weight, glass safety, edge temperature and hardware capacity.
Can PVC windows be dark outside?
Yes. REHAU offers multiple KALEIDO finishes, including dark matte and aluminium-cover options. For dark large elements we also consider solar heating, expansion and installation clearances.
Do you install REHAU windows?
Yes. BIFORIUM can provide system selection, glazing specification and installation engineering as part of the project scope.
