BIFORIUM / QUALITY

QUALITY CONTROL

Quality is not created by one final inspection. It is built through sequential decisions — from drawing revision to glazing supports.

QUALITY CONTROL

WORKFLOW

What is checked.

The exact control plan follows the system and project. This is the core logic for windows, sliding elements and façades.

01

Project revision

Which drawing set is current, which changes are approved and who confirmed critical decisions.

02

Specification

System, profile family, reinforcement, hardware, IGU build-up, spacer, finish and accessories.

03

Samples and finish

Texture, gloss, grain direction, anodising or powder coating are checked before release.

04

Fabrication

Dimensions, diagonals, openings, drainage, gaskets, identification and completeness before dispatch.

05

Opening readiness

Geometry, structural support, finished levels, fixing access and readiness of adjacent layers.

06

Concealed work

Supports, fixings, membranes, EPDM, waterproofing and drainage are recorded before covering.

07

Glazing and adjustment

Glazing blocks, clearances, compression, sash operation, locks and automation.

08

Handover

Visible surfaces, seals, water management, completeness and outstanding-work list.

CONTROL POINTS

What remains in the project record.

01

Revisions

The drawing and specification version used for fabrication is retained.

02

Concealed-work photographs

Critical supports, membranes and interfaces are recorded before covering.

03

Deviation list

Differences between design and site are identified and a correction route is agreed.

04

Completion record

Adjustment, outstanding work and operating recommendations are documented.
