The entrance is where a façade stops being an image and starts working every day. The door needs to look proportionate to the building, close reliably in changing weather and avoid making the owner wrestle with a heavy leaf every morning.
CONTEXT
A large door should feel substantial, not difficult to use.
As a door becomes taller or wider, leaf weight, hinge loads and stiffness requirements rise quickly. Add a full panel, stone, ceramic finish or a large glass unit and geometry becomes even more critical. We therefore define size, infill material, opening direction and the actual use case before deciding on the door type.
Automation and access control are also best planned from the outset. An electric lock, concealed closer, motorised opening or reader should not appear after the wiring has been hidden and the profiles ordered. It is a small coordination task on a drawing and a major difference on site.

Threshold and bottom junction, particularly where step-free access is required.
Lock, closer, handle, access control and power supply coordinated as one package.
