BIFORIUM / GUIDE
HOW TO PLAN LARGE GLASS
An IGU can be fabricated correctly and still fail to reach the opening if gates, turns, slabs or crane position were not checked in advance.

Mass, stillages, route, crane, vacuum lifter, weather, glazing blocks and team sequence must be planned before delivery.
Calculate every unit
Mass, centre of gravity, stillage position and pick points define the equipment.
Walk the route
Gate width, turning radii, slopes, ground, scaffolding and overhead lines are checked on site.
Prepare the frame before lifting
Blocks, clearances, seals, temporary retention and team roles are ready before the glass leaves the stillage.
