BASE
In a frameless balustrade the most important part is barely visible. The base shoe, anchors and slab edge carry the horizontal load transferred by the glass.

A fixing detail should not be copied from one project to another without checking the substrate. Height, pane width, slab type, edge distances and anchor strategy all change how the junction behaves.

Anchors must engage sufficient structural material rather than screed or facade finishes.

Edge distances and concrete condition are checked before a fixing scheme is selected.
Glass
Laminate build-up and thickness depend on geometry, height and design loads.
Water
Base profile, covers and waterproofing are coordinated so water does not remain around fixings.
