TECHNICAL DETAIL / BIFORIUM
WARM BASE
A base profile below the frame should do more than insulate. Its primary job is to transfer the unit weight reliably while limiting a severe thermal bridge.
DETAIL LOGIC
What should be resolved before installation.
A warm-base brand name does not make a junction correct by itself. Load capacity, fixing compatibility, finished-floor height and continuous waterproofing all need to be resolved.
CHECKPOINTS
We review the junction as a system.
Strength
Material and geometry are checked against the actual weight of frame, moving panels and glazing.
Continuous bearing
Long and heavy systems need a level bearing plane without local settlement.
Thermal continuity
The warm base should connect logically with floor or wall insulation.
Waterproofing
Interfaces with membranes and external drainage are planned before finishes close the base.
COORDINATION
Need a junction for a specific project?
Send the section, levels and wall build-up. We will identify missing inputs for a project-specific solution.
