INSTALLATION TECHNOLOGY / BIFORIUM

INSTALLATION IN THE INSULATION ZONE

Moving a frame outward is not enough. Dead load, wind and wall movement must be transferred by designed supports rather than foam or membranes.

INSTALLATION IN THE INSULATION ZONE

CONTROL

Junction control points.

01

Frame position

The axis follows wall build-up, insulation, reveals and façade system.

02

Support

Brackets or a frame system transfer dead and operational loads to structure.

03

Three layers

Internal airtightness, joint insulation and exterior weather protection remain continuous.

04

Control

Base and setting-out are checked before installation; geometry, fixings and corner transitions afterwards.

FAQ

Questions from site.

Is installation in insulation always better?

It can reduce the thermal bridge, but only with a correct support strategy and façade compatibility.

Can foam carry the window weight?

No. Foam fills and insulates the joint but is not a designed structural support.

What is needed for the detail?

Wall section, insulation thickness, element mass and size, finish levels and façade requirements.

SITE / START

Have a section or junction photograph?

Send wall build-up, levels and the largest element. We will identify the missing inputs for a working detail.
