MEESENBURG JUNCTIONS

A product name is not a junction design. The system works when the substrate is prepared, membranes have the right width and corners remain continuous.

MEESENBURG JUNCTIONS

CONTROL

Junction control points.

01

Substrate

Dust, moisture, weak layers and unevenness affect adhesion more than the logo on the roll.

02

Internal layer

The airtight layer protects the joint from warm humid indoor air.

03

External layer

It protects against wind-driven rain and interfaces with the façade finish.

04

Corners and laps

Overlaps, threshold transitions and dissimilar-material junctions are checked separately.

FAQ

Questions from site.

Can one tape be used on every wall?

No. Substrate, movement, joint width and render or façade finish all matter.

Is primer required?

It depends on substrate and product. Follow the technical sheet and carry out an adhesion test.

Why is the threshold different?

The lower zone combines airtightness with support, waterproofing and drainage, so it cannot be treated as a normal jamb.
